About Me

People call me “Fluppe”, that’s a Flemish calling name for “Filip”, which is my name, obviously. That explains the address of this blog.
I’m a tall guy, hailing from Bornem, Belgium. I was born there on the 4th of August, 1979 and am currently employed by Fusebox as a software developer. I moved to Antwerp with the love of my life, Annemie, in June 2006. We found a very cosy appartment in the old city centre. But in May 2008, we bought a nice house and moved back closer to our roots, family and friends.

I’m a DJ, and mad about music, hence the Muzik Souldjah thing. Although it’s been a while since I stood behind the decks, I still love it. Especially the whole lifestyle around it (going out, good music + influences, friendly and open-minded people).

Keeping fit is important to me (you know: body & soul), so I play volleyball in competition (training and match weekly), and I like to play basketball in the summer (outside, in the sun) with friends. I also play squash on Saturdays when time permits.

Take a look at my homepage if you would like to know more about me. I don’t update it anymore (a blog is perfect for sloths), but it’s still online because I haven’t bothered removing it. Think of it as nostalgia (I once saw a 1998 version in the Wayback Machine).
